But before you add to cart, it's worth a quick checklist. To get the full 22kW, you need three things: a three-phase power supply at your property, a three-phase compatible charger (like SEVR's X4), and a vehicle that accepts 22kW AC charging. If your EV caps out at 7kW or 11kW on AC — which plenty do — the cable will still work, it'll just charge at whatever your car can accept. That's not a flaw, that's how EV charging works. The good news is this cable is downward compatible with single-phase charging too, so it's a genuinely flexible piece of kit.

Choosing your length:

5m — Clean and tidy for a dedicated install where your car always parks in the same spot. Easiest to manage and store, and keeps your setup looking neat.

7m — The sweet spot for most installs. Enough reach to handle garages, shared spaces or driveways where the car isn't always positioned perfectly. 

10m — When you need serious reach. Wide driveways, awkward layouts, commercial installs or anywhere the charger can't be mounted close to where the car parks. If you've ever been caught short with a cable, just go the 10m.

How to use:

• Remove the protective cap from the connector plug and insert it firmly into your charging station socket — make sure it's fully seated.
• Pull out the cable, lock it in place, remove the cap from the charging plug and insert it into your vehicle. Your car will confirm the active charge on its display.
• When you're done, remove the plug from the vehicle first, replace the protective cap, release the cable lock and guide the cable back carefully.

A few important safety notes:

Never insert fingers into the EV connector. Don't use the cable if the cord, insulation or connectors show any signs of damage, fraying or cracking — replace it. Don't use with an extension cord. Keep away from water, flooding or flammable materials. Don't modify the cable in any way — this voids the warranty immediately. Keep out of reach of children when in use, and don't place heavy objects on the cable or reel.
